Pro-Choice Brunch - Roe v Wade turns 37

 Libby BenedictThe Reproductive Rights Network of Santa Cruz County will celebrate the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade with their annual brunch, featuring two speakers discussing Health Care Reform and Women’s Reproductive Health: One Step Forward, Two Steps Back.

This year's program will include two speakers from Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health:

Libby Benedict (shown above) is Director of Leadership Training Networks for Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH), where she directs the Leadership Training Academy, a national initiative tasked with cultivating the next generation of leaders in reproductive health advocacy. She received a BA in Sociology from UCLA, a Master’s in Public Policy from Golden Gate University, and has spent the last twenty years as a community organizer.

Dr. Pratima GuptaDr. Pratima Gupta is Associate Physician at Kaiser Oakland. She completed medical school at USC School of  Medicine and her OB/GYN residency at LA County/USC Hospital. She completed the Fellowship in Family Planning at UCSF and a Master’s of Public Health at UC Berkeley, and directs the Ryan Residency Training Program in Abortion and Family Planning. She also serves on the Board of Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health.
